Noron ehf. operates the ZARA store in Iceland. ZARA is an international fashion brand that has established itself as one of the leading companies in clothing and accessories for all age groups at affordable prices.

The foundation of ZARA’s global success lies primarily in its ability to identify customer preferences and respond quickly to them. Products are designed in line with current fashion trends, while customer reception and demand play a key role in shaping further production and product development.

Strong emphasis is placed on fair pricing and rapid inventory turnover, with new products introduced at least twice a week. The retail chain has also worked actively on sustainability initiatives, including recycling used clothing, improving working conditions for employees, and increasing the use of sustainable materials.

In the day-to-day operations of the store, all waste is sorted and recycled wherever recycling is possible. The company also works towards an active circular economy through the return of all reusable materials to distribution centres for reuse and recycling.

The first ZARA store in Iceland opened in 2001, and today Hagar operates one physical store and an online store under the ZARA brand through a franchise agreement with Inditex in Spain. The store is located in Smáralind shopping centre.
