Noron ehf. operates the ZARA store in Iceland. ZARA is an international fashion brand that has established itself as one of the leading companies in clothing and accessories for all age groups at affordable prices.
The foundation of ZARA’s global success lies primarily in its ability to identify customer desires and respond quickly. Products are designed in line with current fashion trends, and customer reception and preferences guide further production and product development.
Great emphasis is placed on fair pricing and rapid product turnover, with new items introduced at least twice a week. The retail chain has also worked diligently on sustainability, including recycling used clothing, improving employee working conditions, and increasingly using sustainable materials.
In daily operations, all waste is sorted and recycled as much as possible. Additionally, efforts are made toward an active circular economy through returns of all recyclable raw materials to warehouses.
The first ZARA store opened in Iceland in 2001, and today Hagar operates one store and an online store under the ZARA brand through a franchise agreement with Inditex in Spain. The store is located in Smáralind.
