Bónus
Bonus offers concise selection of merchandise. It is endeavoured that the customer can find all the essentials in the company’s stores. Thus the stores fulfil the customers’ needs but simultaneously keep the storage costs to minimum – which in turn contributes to lower prices. The Bonus-stores offer circa 2500-3500 items; the variety depends on the size of the stores.
In past years increased emphasis has been put on fresh commodities, especially in fruit and vegetation. The coolers have been enlarged and constantly more space is given to organically grown products. We offer certain basic specialities in addition to seasonal products.
Bonus has enjoyed great popularity in the past years and as an indication customers have voted the company as the most popular company of the country in the magazine Frjáls verslun (Free trade) for the last five years and some nine times in the past 17 years. Furthermore Bonus has received the Consumers price granted by the Consumers Union of Iceland and the radio station Bylgjan on the two occasion that they have been granted, in 2006 and 2007. The total number of the Bonus-stores is currently 28, in the capital area and in the country.
